my website vs my blog
eventually I want to purchase a lifetime license to bearblog. it's mostly just a matter of when at this point. I probably should subscribe for at least a month to get a feel for it, but I always forget when the begining of the month comes around 😭
in addition, I was thinking about cleaning up, but there isn't really anything to do! I looked through my blogroll again to see how other bloggers use theirs, and I'm at a loss!
I like having my blog and website separate, but sometimes I feel tempted to move everything to bearblog. then I remember what a pain it would be to have so many pages flooding my back end on here. so, what's the solution? I don't want to feel like that both sites are competing for the main site— I want them to both have their distinct purpose without overlapping (like having a /links on my website but a /bookmarks here. sometimes it feels clunky!). but I guess at the end of the day they're going to overlap, I kinda just have to decide what goes where in a silly way. I debated removing the about here and redirecting to my main one, but if someone only knows me from my blog, they won't get to know who I am! I suppose the best option would be to treat my blog like an extension of my website 🤔
it doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things, but it would make it so much better for me if I had an ongoing idea of how to organize things (like how I used to have my now page on my website, but put it here to have an easier time updating it)
perhaps overall I should just put stuff that may be changed often here, and everything else on the website 🤔
